Getting there

About a mile hike to some of the foothill overlook areas. The Victory trailhead is paid, $5 parking, but if you go to the Upper Las Virgenes Trailhead (where I typically shoot) off of Las Virgenes Rd, parking is free.

Photographer's notes

Las Virgenes Canyon is one of the local outdoorsy spots that I just love to use, whether it's green, or dried up. The rolling hills and mountain views provide the perfect backdrop for golden-hour lit sessions for couples who don't mind a bit of a hike. Bringing separate walking shoes and some photo-worthy shoes that are easy to slip into would not be a bad idea for this location.
