I first met Elyse in 2019 when we worked at the same marketing agency. Her vibrant personality, colorful hair, and positive attitude immediately drew me in. Soon after, I had the pleasure of meeting her then-boyfriend, Andy. It was clear from the start that they had a special connection, one that was built to last.
Despite numerous setbacks caused by the pandemic, Elyse and Andy finally tied the knot in an intimate Santa Barbara Courthouse elopement, surrounded by their loved ones.
The day began at the Hall of Records, where a county employee conducted the legal marriage on paper. After collecting signatures from the bride, groom, and witnesses, we headed to the Sunken Gardens for the formal ceremony. As the officiant spoke, Andy and Elyse held hands, beaming with joy as their families looked on.
After the ceremony, we took family photos under the stunning Santa Barbara Courthouse Arch before exploring the grounds for romantic shots of just Andy and Elyse. The newlyweds then popped open a bottle of sparkling wine to celebrate their union.
We ended the day at a local bar called ‘The Good Lion Bar,’ where the owner graciously welcomed our unannounced arrival. Elyse and Andy were treated to complimentary drinks, and their families enjoyed delicious cocktails as they celebrated two families joining together as one.
Thank you, Elyse and Andy, for letting me be a part of your special day. It’s a memory I’ll cherish forever.
