The ceremony took place at the breathtaking Chart House Restaurant in Dana Point, overlooking the stunning Dana Cove and the picturesque Dana Point harbor. Surrounded by the beauty of the California seaside and the rolling San Juan hills, Chloe and Mathew chose to share their first look as Chloe, escorted by her father, walked down the aisle. Mathew’s eyes sparkled with excitement, and as they sealed their vows with a kiss, guests celebrated by showering them with flower petals.
Following the ceremony, we ventured to Dana Point’s scenic viewpoint near Scenic Drive and Cove Road for family, bridal party, and romantic photos. The natural beauty of the area provided the perfect backdrop for these precious memories. Back at the Chart House, the ceremony arch now framed the sweetheart table, beautifully set against the deep blue of the Pacific Ocean.
The reception began with a lively grand entrance, as bridesmaids and groomsmen danced their way to the dance floor. Chloe and Mathew shared their first dance as husband and wife, basking in the love and support of their friends and family. Guests enjoyed a delicious dinner while heartfelt toasts recounted the couple’s journey, their accomplishments, and their beautiful love story.
As the sun began to set, I whisked Chloe and Mathew away for a few more romantic shots at Harbor Point Conservation Park, capturing the magic of the golden hour and the enchanting blue hour. Returning to the reception, the party continued with dancing, cake cutting, and a bouquet toss, capping off a perfect day for a truly beautiful couple.
